Near yet far
Near yet far
The rainbow and the hawk arranged for our hearts to join for a moment in time.
The ocean waves played and splashed on the shore and concurred as the sea birds soared above.
The setting sun and the crimson sky warmed our souls as we met again and for the first time.
You were near and far, as I walked the beach alone. The heavens gave birth to a perfect rainbow that reached from the glittering mountains to the vast ocean.
I was near and far from you as I wondered if this was the right time and place for me to be.
You seized the moment, looked deep into my eyes, and asked permission to continue.
How could I say no to those eyes that hold the green ocean and turquoise sky at the same time.
